Living in Motion is a proud part of LiFE Inc. Here at Living in Motion we are dedicated to helping people with disabilities find means of transportation all over the valley. We currently have Taxi subsidy programs with the cities of Phoenix and Glendale for dialysis patients, repetitive medical trips and for persons with disabilities to get to and form work. The Disability Awareness Resource Training Program (DART) brings passengers with disabilities and public transit operators together to share experiences and expectations of the transit system. We have people with a variety of disabilities serveing as Panelists sharing their lives, disabilities, bus or Dial-a-Ride use and transit expectations with the operators. We distribute stokes straps free of charge to Valley metro and Dial-a-ride users. These easy to see, easy to use loops make bus and Dial-a-Ride travel safer for passengers in mobility devices. They reduce the possibility of damage to mobility devices and indicate where a transit operator should attach securement straps. Simply call 480-222-4133 to place your order and they will be mailed to you. When you call please convey your name, mailing address, telephone number and the make & model of your mobility device (ex.
